I will be starting my second year come October and i would like to know if there are any financial aid options for students with a low income? Please note that I am NOT referring to student loans but to financial help with bills, textbooks, hardware etc. If it helps I am studying 120 credits in psychology

I too have been looking into this, and as far as my searches discovered there is no form of "Maintenance" loan for Open University students, as its classed as a part time course you are expected to study around work.0

Maintenance loans for distance learning courses are scheduled to come in for new courses starting 2019/20 onwards.

If you live in Wales, I believe there is help for Maintenance grants for the coming academic year.Dwy galon, un dyhead,
Dwy dafod ond un iaith,
Dwy raff yn cydio’n ddolen,
Dau enaid ond un taith.0 -
Which sucks because without the Open University label attached, 120 credits is full time studying...0
