Can Some please advise if i can apply for the above to use in overseas or if you know any company that offer them

    As the wife is going and want to take the card but not pay fees which one on the list of the above link is best if anyone has used them

    Halifax Clarity works for me, with Nationwide Select as a backup.

    Your circumstances may differ from mine. You should use the eligibility checker to find the ones you or your wife might be able to get.

    I would also suggest that if your wife is travelling without you, she should get a card in her own name. Because in the event of needing to contact the card company while abroad, the card company will want to speak to the account holder, not an additional cardholder.

    I also use the Starling Bank card, I transfer money into the account and withdraw as required. No transaction fee for use abroad and no interest to pay. Just note that it is always wise to have a backup card, so have the clarity and the barclaycard travel card too.
