Finally got my letter.
I actually use the Club Lloyds as my main a/c now so I won't be closing it, but opened a Tesco one to put 3000 of the money in.
PS thanks for tip on airport lounges
(but it doesn't work for me, you have to have a smartphone)0 -

Do you? I'll take your word for it as I've never used it, but the FAQs suggest you can print it off.Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -

The attack? It's nothing personal.0 -
"I was going to move the £5000 from all three accounts to my ISA paying 1.65%. But should I keep one going just to use should a good switching deal come along?"
I will keep one of my three accounts open because you need one to benefit from the BOS Regular Saver £250 for 12 months at 2.5%. I have cancelled all £1000 in/out standing orders and all the Tesco Direct Debits and left a small balance. This means I lose the "Vantage" status and the account goes to an ordinary "Classic Account", but this is still a valid account for Regular Saver conditions.
Yes - it is a reasonable idea to keep one for a switching bonus but you will usually need two direct Debits to be active.0 -
The Nationwide Loyalty ISA was withdrawn earlier this week. Are there any alternatives that can beat the 1.5% offered by BOS? At the moment I've no plans to close any of my Vantage accounts.0

Coventry Building Society Reward ISA pays 1.65%. It is a loyalty ISA so not open to everyone."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
