we have a screen with DIVx player in our office entrance. Can we convert powerpoint to play on it so that we can run messages as well as photos?

IF your DivX player can play avi files, you might want to try this,
I can't vouch for them, but I can't find any direct PPS to AVI freeware, all seem to charge, this requires two steps, but are freeware, PPS to SWF, then SWF to AVI0
