Exotic Holiday with 2 year old

I want to get away on a holiday somewhere nice for about 7 days where i can just relax at a nice beach and also have the opportunity to explore the place a bit by renting a car I want to go mid November and have a two year old son

I was thinking of the following

1. HAwaii (prob with a stop in san francisco)
2. Antigua or St Lucia
3. Maldives
4. Mauritius

is there any other places that people would recommend

want somewhere that wont be too busy, blue waters and some time to relax with the family...

Thailand / Bali? Great with children?

I'd knock Maldives off your list unless you want to charter a boat instead of a car.

Is it just the 2 of you?
  • Antigua is nice loads of children when we went there , long flight for a week though , and not sure you'd want to drive round.

You wont want anywhere that needs vacinations i would have thought , and with a 2 year old you will probably spend all your time running after them lol

    Hi
Don't know if this will help, We've taken our 3 (all under 6) twice to Mauritius and once to the Maldives and all I can say is don't bother looking anywhere else the Indian Ocean is a fantastic place for kids, look at Legends for Mauritius and and Kurumba is a good place to start for the Maldives really short transfer times closest to the airport.
We did use to holiday in the caribean with the eldest but the standard is much higher in the Indian Ocean but also more expensive so do bear that in mind our last trip cost over £8k for us at Legends for 2 weeks
If you really fancy exploring and still want nice beaches why not try the florida Keys we did this in August and all had a really great time not anywhere nearly as expensive as either the caribean or the Indian Ocean

Hope you have a lovely holiday where ever you choose:j
