Thanks jane, i know i would just be daft for giving him something with a re-sale value 9last yr proved that to me) but i cant see me not giving him anything the guilt would be too much for me.
Tine re the food hamper he lives with his dad (who tbh has shown himselft to be a bit of an !!!! since the split) so i dont think this would go down well, i would get the whole attitude of are you trying to say i dont feed him/ look after him crap which tbh i dont think i could cope with.
I am going with the clothes (cpl of tops, cpl of pairs of trousers and socks no names tho), smellies(deodarant roll on and spray and maybe a razor set) and a tin of sweets.
