If you think any laptop is sexy then you need to get out more ....

...however my Sony Vaio VGN-C1S/W (now old hat) is quite stylish in silver and think Apple do a good design job too.

If your in to photography you would know the reason why photographers all use macs.

If you want sexy get a picture of your favourite hot woman and stick it on top. If you want somthing that will do the job then you need to up your budget and buy a mac book.

A few things to consider, the screen size if your going to take it about and about then you want small and light weight, small and light laptops are not cheap.
Photoshop? most photographers use it, the newer versions are requireing more and more memory and image manipulation has always been cpu and memory intensive.
Drive space, cameras are increaseing in image resolution as a result image files sizes are getting more and more so you need drive space to store them. Drive space isnt as expensive as it used to be so it isnt that much of a worry any more.

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite right now. Pretty good machine - never had a problem with it. Very odd looking orange top though.

For sexy, I think HP and Sony Vaios are the way to go.

The problem buying 2nd hand is you never know how it has been treated in the past, laptops are pains in the tush hard drives are sensitive and on their last legs and batteries tend to be knackered.

I know a few people that didnt listen to me and ended up with knackered laptops, the cashe they saved buying new they ended up spending buying a new battery and charger as the cable was dammaged.
