    1. How do I enter?

    The “Win places at the Clipper tall ship Party in London” competition (“the Competition”) is a competition available at https://www.randstad.co.uk (“the Website”). Participation in the Competition requires completion of the entry form on the Website. By entering the competition you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

    There is no cost to register or enter the Competition. The Competition is promoted by Randstad UK Holding Limited (“Randstad or Promoter”) of 450 Capability Green, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 3LU.

    2. When can I enter?

    The Competition starts on Wednesday 4 April 2018 and finishes on Tuesday 5 May 2018 at 11.59 pm (“Closing Date”). The website may be available after the closing date but no entries received after the closing date will be valid for the Prize (as defined below). The 20 Winners will be selected by an independently verified computer system. All entries must be made using a valid email address.

    3. Who is eligible?

    Subject to the following, the Competition is open to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland who are aged 18 or over at the point of registration on the website and such persons are eligible for the Prize. Persons under 18; persons residing other than in the UK and Northern Ireland; and employees of Randstad or companies within the Randstad Group and their immediate family members are entitled to participate in the Competition but will not be eligible for the Prize.

    In addition to the requirements above and clause 8, to be eligible for the Prize, the Winners and their guests must:

    Be available on and between the dates in clause 4;

    Hold a passport or UK driving licence bearing an image of the Winner, valid for the date of the party and for 6 months thereafter.

    Each of your chosen guests will also need to hold a passpory or UK driving licence, valid for the date of the party and for 6 months thereafter.

    4. What is the Prize?

    The Prize consists of a places at the Party on the Clipper tall ship for the Winners and up to nine of their guests, provided all guests are above the age of 18 (as of the Closing Date).

    The itinerary on June 9 consists of two different time slots, and Winners will be allocated one of the two, as follows:

    itinerary one:

    June 9: check in from 1130 in London at St George's steps (Tower Bridge). Transfer by boat to the Clipper ship which will be moored in the Thames. Invitation to the Randstad party from 1200 until 1600.

    itinerary two: June 9: check in from 1730 in London at St George's steps (Tower Bridge). Transfer by boat to the Clipper ship which will be moored in the Thames. Invitation to the Randstad party from 1800 until 2200.

    Food and canapes whilst on-board are included. Both itineraries also include live music from a band. The ship's hospitality staff have discretion to refuse the provision of alcohol if in their sole and reasonable opinion they feel this is necessary to ensure the safety of the Winners guests and the crew.

    5. Other than as set out in 4 above, all other costs will be the responsibility of the Winners, such as any travel costs for the Winners and their guests.

    6. The Prize is not transferable and no cash alternative is available. We are unable to accept any responsibility for entries that are damaged, incomplete, corrupted, or not received by Randstad.

    7. How will I know if I have won?

    The Winners will be notified by email to the address provided upon registration within 48 hours of the closing date. Each Winner must contact the Promoter within 48 hours of this email being sent by emailing customersupport@randstad.co.uk.

    When contacting the promoter, each Winner must confirm that they meet all of the eligibility requirements for the Prize to which they are entitled. If any Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements or fails to respond to the email within 48 hours, that Winner will forfeit their Prize and the Promoter will award their Prize to another participant that has been selected using the independently verified computer system.

    The winner will have five days to confirm the name and dates of birth of each of the guests that they are bringing. Late name changes are not permitted.

    8. It is a condition of entry and eligibility for the Prize that the Winners and their guests take part in publicity.

    9. The names and towns of residence of the Winners will be available from the Promoter 60 days after the closing date.

    10. In the event that any Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, a reasonable alternative will be provided.

    11. How will we use your data?

    If you answer yes to the question on the form, Randstad will share the personal data that you provide to us in the course of entering the Competition for the purposes of administration and marketing. Your personal data will not be sold to third parties however it will be shared with third parties we use for the purposes mentioned above.

    12. The application and interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

    13. The headings to the clauses and paragraphs of these terms and conditions will not affect the interpretation.
