Business Account for my Partner

Hi all, hope somebody can help.
My partner is about to start her own business (sole trader) and although she could use her current account she would rather keep things separate. The problem is that her credit rating is shot due to issues in the past and whilst we are dealing with the problems it does mean that she wouldn't pass the credit check.
My credit file is fine so here's my question: Can I set up a bank account in the name of her business, get an additional card on the account for her and let her use that?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
