Which are the best Center Parcs restaurants?

Can anyone give me their experineces of evening meals at Whinfell Center Parcs? I plan to book a couple of nights out without the babies so my partner and I can eat in peace. We never get out, so we are looking forward to actually having a conversation without a small butting in every five seconds! Just wondering which restaurants people would recommend. Or is there anywhere "peaceful" to eat at Center PArcs!?

We won't be eating out much, if at all, during the day, as because of my kids dietary requirements, we bring picnics everywhere. So mainly interested in evening dining. I hear that the Chinese is a bit characterless, and the food isn't great. Is this true?

Or is it worth avoiding the eateries altogether and going to the pub instead?

The Rock Legends place was the only one we'd eat at again should we find ourselves at Whinfell again. The rest were dire, and the organisation of the site was poor the two times we went in mid-2005. Shame, as the place is nice from a physical point of view.

We loved the chinese last time we were there, can't remember the name though sorry, but it was lovely and I craved one for a while after we came back. We got an indian to take away which was also lovely, but my veggie korma didn't have much in it, just mainly sauce.

not sure when it happens but they announced recently that all teh catering was being taken over by various other companies so a lot of the restaurants are being rebranded over the next few months so some may actually be shut

on the positive slant a few of the new restaurants are in teh tesco Clubcard scheme
