    I've been Money Tipped!
This happened to our Sainsburys as well. However, it has taken the place of large electrical items such as TVs, and has not impacted on the grocery area.

They did the same in one of the Sainsburys local to me, but they don't seem to have reduced their core food lines, well not that I've noticed anyway. What they seem to have done is reduce or even eliminate their electricals, toys and home sections instead. Which I suppose makes sense if Argos sell similar items.

That's what I would have expected when my local did the same last year - but no. Sainsbury still sell TVs and kettles and stuff and they have noticeably reduced the range (number of brands) in some of the grocery aisles. I think what they actually did was move the Argos point from a nearby Homebase. I suppose it might be useful if I ever wanted to order something online from Argos, I can now pick up somewhere within walking distance from home.

There was a tiny Argos set up at Cannon St Tube station last year - I presume more as a pick-up point than actual browsing. It appears not to have been a success as it's now a Costa....
I need to think of something new here...

They did this in my local Sainsburys.
Unfortunately they put the Argos next to their stinking fish counter..........
Most unpleasant particularly as even at 9.30 am their fish stinks & looks like it has been there all week, which it probably has.
