Default removal - from default date or last updated?

Hi guys,
I've been checking my credit file and have a quick question re defaults.
Stupidly, I defaulted on a credit account back in April 2013 which has now been settled. The default is dated on my credit report at April 2013 and the last updated date is October 2016.
I understand that defaults leave your report after 6 years. Will this be removed 6 years from the default date (April 2013) or the last updated date (Oct 2016)?
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Philpot

The easiest way to look at it is that every entry in your credit file has a 6 year expiry date. So of you have an entry made in 2013 that would disappear in 2019, one in 2016 would disappear in 2022. They only ever get removed when they're linked if there's been an error. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The entire account will be removed 6 years (ish, you know give it 2 more for updates!) from the date of default.
It's more concerning it has stopped being updated. Is it now paid off? (marked as satisfied?)0 -
It looks like it..
