hello me again,
i hoping someone can help me, having a rather silly problem.
i am attempting to buy some new screws (my pot of random ones is running low or are the wrong size), however i seem to be having a problem with finding the length.
i can only seem to find wood screws at the length i require. but these will be used to secure wood batons to an interior masonry wall (in this case). so i don't think wood screws will work?
my current job is to fix a pyl sheet over a 2cm gap into a masonry wall. Allowing for 3cm depth for a 6mm rawlplug, 2cm for the gap i'd need a 5cm length screw.
if i hang the picture from this id need ~ 6cm long screw to allow for ply thickness and hanging room.
will these work for what i need or do i need to find a non woodscrew?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ENFPNNW/
and if so can i use my normal 6mm rawlplugs with these?
i did find hammer in fixings but the seem the wrong thing?
please help i am going around in circles
