shogun insurance

Looking into insuring a 2003 shogun for a main driver with a speeding conviction in 2004 (3 points) and an additional driver with an accident in sept this year (my fault!).

Any suggestions of best people to get quotes with for 4x4 vehicles?

  • Hi there.

Not a motor expert (work in insurance auditing), but I used the tried and tested formula of "get the wife to sort it"!!

I have a Saab, an SP30 and a non-fault accident. She got my premium down by half. "We" started at confused.com to get a basic quote and then looked for better prices through sites listed in quidco.com that would give us cash back. Once we got a price that was acceptable to us (HSBC, who used to be Corinthian Insurance before they were bought out), we went with it.

    Good luck!!
