Minor bump what now?

Earlier I had a minor bump on a main road.
Me and the other car driving towards each other, cars parked each side. Bumped each other as passed.
Both pulled in but half way up from each other, dark, got out looked at car, no damage, wing mirror pushed in a bit, I just pushed it back out.
Other car drove off before we could exchange details so thought they must be thinking the same.
What do I do now? Ring insurance now or in morning? Even though not claiming, will this push up my premium on renewal for an accident? What would happen to protected NCB?

Thank goodness the insurance companies have hypervigilant account holders who can speedily update them about apparent accidents for which there is no other evidence apart from their own testimony. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
