I am at my wits end and hoping someone may be able to help!
I have bene using this laptop with Vista for a few months now and haven't had any problems but over the last few days it won't let me access any sites that require Flash. I get a message asking me to install the latest version - I instal it, it says the instal is complete but then when I go back to the web site to use it - it is like Groundhog Day and I get the message all over again.
I have looked through Tools and Security settings and enabled the Active X and Flash settings I think but it seems like there is a setting somewhere stopping it. Any ideas?
Help gratefully apreciated before I go mad
Thanks

I have a similar problem although I have XP and it was working fine until today. Each time I try to use something like youTube I get a message to say that Javascript has been turned off or that I need to download the Flash player. When I try to download the Flash player I end up going around in circles!!!!0

Have you tried the above solution, it should work for all flavours of windoze!0

yes, but didn't make any difference, think I'll have to get one of my techie mates around! Thanks anyway. 0 -

You definitely uninstalled the flash player completely. And only then reinstalled? Which browser are you using?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Sorry been away from the computer for a while. I'm using AOL and have never had any problems before with the Adobe Flash player. I followed your instructions, save un-installer, quit AOL then run the un-installer etc Then go back onto AOL and try to re-install the flash player but it just takes me back to the initial page.
