Bank account for college student

I was just wondering since the student accounts guide seemed to be aimed more towards university students? I'm 18 and am only on a 1 year course, gonna go to university within the next couple of years...:jWhat kind of account would you recommend for me?

I suspect your current course would mean you weren't eligible for a typical student account, you're going to be looking at a regular bank account.
Take a look at the Best Buy Bank Accounts article. You might also want to consider which student account you'd like when you go to uni and set up a regular current account with that bank, it should be a fairly simple switchover process to the student account then when you head to uni.0
