Nothing in the NEWBIES thread about this one.

It seems parking tickets follow me wherever I go. I'm not panicking just yet as Interpol haven't knocked on my door and I don't think the Spanish auothorites have submitted an extradition request yet.

I am curious, however, as to whether this will cause me a problem next time I visit Spain or try to hire a car from the same company.

I suppose, if the worst comes to the worst, I could always hide out in the Columbian Embassy.

    Shouldn't that be 'ayudame'?

Pedantry over...sorry, haven't studied Spanish for decades, but I couldn't resist!

I think these go nowhere fast, but wouldn't hire a car from the same company. Is there any chance the hire firm might debit your card anyway?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I hear Belgium is popular if you're wanting independence, although day trips to Germany may cause problems.:)

I was saying "please help" rather than "help me" ;)

Don't think they have but I'll double check.

If this is from the government or police, change your passport if flying in, as this is where you could have problems.

That's a bit of a hassle, only renewed it last year. It does mention the local police on the notice.
