Morning all! Glad you had sunshine ATB - been nothing like that around here the last few days. Misty again today; am vainly hoping it lifts and the sun comes but I think that's wishful thinking.
Amazingly, my Flying head is still on after yesterday's exertions so got a load in the washing machine and washed up all the dishes from last night (yes I know, I'm a slob). DH is unloading the DW as we speak. I haven't looked at the list yet but will do what I can from it.
MrsMP how are you managing to do 4 roles! What a star DH is.
Jojo I hope the pain eases today; I used to really struggle with AF the first day.
Catch you all later.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Morning all.
Thick fog outside - definitely can't even call it mist.
Nice to "see" you Mrs M-P. I could do with borrowing your DH for help around the house. Far more use than my DH is. But then when he does help, he doesn't do the job how I want it, so he can't win really.
Today I must:
Change bedding and get it washed
Tackle the ironing pile
Clean bedrooms and bathroom.
Sort out some blinds for the landing
Finish the last dregs of the paperwork
Fill bird feeders
Collect DD. I've really missed her not being here, even if all that she has missed is her own bed, heating and hot water.
First of all I'm making a cupoa to help me get started.0 -
right so.. 13 empty ice cream tubs, 12 takeaway tubs, 11 boxes of gingerbread man mix (BBE 10/14) bag of cashew nuts (BBEAug. 13) .. 18 new glasses.. wth?!
Thats one cupboard emptied.... and half a bin filled!!! The glasses are going to my sister and mother..
See why I NEED to get this cupboard organised?
Pan cupboards next and I KNOW there are at least 4 cake storage things to get rid of from in there.. anyone?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
[STRIKE]Change bedding and get it washed[/STRIKE]. Done. Duvet changed as I am getting sick of being so HOT at night! DH will have to have an extra blanket if he is cold.
Tackle the ironing pile - still looking at me
[STRIKE]Clean bedrooms and bathroom.[/STRIKE] Done. Took an age as everywhere was so dusty.
Sort out some blinds for the landing - next job after lunch as I'm starving
Finish the last dregs of the paperwork - ditto above. And more has arrived in the post. *sigh*
[STRIKE]Fill bird feeders[/STRIKE]
Impressive cupboard turn out, Pigpen.:T
Downstairs apart from the kitchen is still a tip. I'm not opening the baking cupboard in the kitchen to see what is lurking there.
Soup now, then paperwork bits and then the ironing I think. Oh yes, and I've just figured out strikethrough and coloured font! I'm not the quickest off the block....:rotfl:0 -
Afternoon flyers. Hope you're all ok and that any poorlies feel better soon.
Not a lot of flying is getting done here. I did some gardening yesterday. I'm just reporting in to thank you all for your posivibes - I got the job I wanted.
Enjoy the rest of the day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
cupboard bleached.. it smells much nicer now!
waiting for it to dry before refilling it with cereal. My Le Crueset kettle and teapot are in there.. and a huge roasting pan I am seriously considering rehoming!
Ooh... BG called me back.. they have sorted my tariff.. finally... now to get the monitors which go with the smart meters... let's see how long that takes!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Well done, Jazee! :T :T :T
Why does sorting a few bits of paper take so long? Done now, as is the ironing pile. I need to collect DD in an hour, so not enough time to do anything except maybe sit down and sort through a magazine or 20 -
Well done Jazee!!
Goodness Pigpen - your cupboards sound as bad as ours! Isn't it nice when they're done though (not that I'd know that feeling, can just imagine).
Done a few bits and pieces around here; maybe not quite as much as yesterday but never mind that.
Nice easy tea tonight - fishfingers, chips and peas.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
