    If it's Euro Parking Services, you can't quote the BPA CoP. Umkomaas told you earlier:
    I've re-read the thread and I think you need to be aware of a few points.

    The defence you seem to have submitted contains inaccuracies like quoting the BPA Code of Practice (when EPS are governed by the IPC Code of Practice)

  • Thanks Coupon-mad,

    Do you know the article I should reference from EPS to strengthen that point or I remove it?

    Otherwise if it is ok I will print it and pack it into folder for tomorrow

    Thanks

  • I meant IPC code of practice
  • I found this and will add it:

    The signage did not comply with the requirements of the Code of Practice of the Independent Parking Committee's ("IPC") Accredited Operators Scheme, an organisation to which the Claimant was a signatory;

    That title changed a couple of years back to 'International Parking Community' - still the same acronym 'IPC'.

    No you won't.

    You simply need to Google and read the IPC code of practice and find the right part and quote that, so you do so with real knowledge, not copying something old from when the IPC had a different name.

    I have dropped the file in the court drop box with case number and date on top sheet.

    Gladestones wrote to me and said pay £200 as reduce offer to settle this, I have not responded to them yet. I would rather lose at court than pay them anything. I will let you know how it goes, and keep reading around for hearing day.

    I like it when Gs offer a reduced payment. It usually heralds them discontinuing!

  • Hi All,

    The hearing is tomorrow, I called the court and they said the case has not been withdrawn. I will have my witness statement printed (including pictures). Any last minute advice ?
