Long weekend has dragged. Hayfever season has now begun. Great! Time for runny nose and general grumpiness :-)
Managed to get the groceries for £27, dog food was on offer, yay!
Set a date for the car boot sale, 2 weeks yesterday. I never have much luck with car boots, usually end up only bringing in enough to cover the entry fees. But I will try my very best! Both goals DONE!
Also have a mountain bike in the shed that my ex bought me which has never been used. Was going to pop it on facebay, but it turns out it's a pricey contraption, really good brand etc so may be best going on ebay with it - should get around £75 profit.
Also had a moment of bravery and messaged my "friend" with the loan situation and asked when she was able to start paying me back, since the loan was taken out in 2013 and the CCJ was in 2015, plenty of time.
She has said she needs to figure out finances and see what they can afford - I have heard this before but let's see what happens this time around!
I also have about £17 cashback waiting to be paid out. It's been a productive weekend apart from all of the snot!!!
 Goals for tomorrow

Try to eat less than a million calories£20 a day in May £41/£620 (previously £661/£600):beer:0

Honestly beanielou, I have come to a bit of a mental agreement with myself that if I get any payment from her, great but I need to focus my energy elswhere because the likelihood is so low!
Lodger still has not paid up. But he should be getting a lump sum from redundancy and notice pay and can get me up to date plus an extra month to keep him in a home until he finds more work. That is looking a bit more positive.
Today is shopping day. Aiming for under £35£20 a day in May £41/£620 (previously £661/£600):beer:0

Been slacking with the diary. But still plugging away.
Will update properly tomorrow, but the main updates are
Car boot sale is on Sunday, aiming for maybe £30 or £40 profit.
Won £100 at the bingo with a friend on Wednesday so £65 is in the kitty for this month.
Still have not put the bike on eBay but I will be this weekend. Hoping for a hundred quid or so. Getting there slowly but surely!!£20 a day in May £41/£620 (previously £661/£600):beer:0

            Another update...
And proof that I have the word mug written on my forehead..a friend promised me over a year ago that he would revive my garden for me. It!!!8217;s been barely looked after, all my fault.
Anyway he!!!8217;s a gardener by trade and offered the work for free as he would be able to use the before and afters as massive advertising revenue .
Anyway it!!!8217;s been over a year and he!!!8217;s cut my grass a couple of times but that!!!8217;s it. So I!!!8217;m going to have to do something about it myself.
There!!!8217;s bound to be a gardening thread here I can join to get some tips on where to start and how to do it reasonably cost effective.
I hate gardening too, this is why I needed help in the first place haha
It will keep me busy though, can!!!8217;t spend money if I!!!8217;m busy in the garden!£20 a day in May £41/£620 (previously £661/£600):beer:0

I've been slacking this last week or so. In terms of diary anyway.
However. My lodger managed to pay up 2 month's rent which means that he's here for another month and I am up to date with bills. YAY!! He's also had a couple job interviews so here's hoping we are back on track with getting regular rent, what a relief that will be!
Haven't listed a single thing on ebay and the car boot sale didn't happen as, well, I ended up without a car for the last 2 weeks.
Cheeky £65 into the savings on Tuesday from an overpayment I got from work. And I cashed in some shares, but won't declare that until it's in the bank - should be around £320 after tax and fees.
In terms of the "holiday" it's looking like I am about £400 short. So if I get my rear end in gear and actually list the stuff on ebay - the bike, some consoles, games, some clothes etc - then anything that doesn't sell will be car boot stuff. Should get there, barely!
Then it's time to focus properly on the debt.
It's a credit card, an overdraft and a store account, around £2500 in total. If I can pick up some overtime in the next couple of months, that will really help - paying for car insurance and the likes after the start of june will stretch the resources a bit!
Anyway, I'm off to chase the sunshine. It's not as nice as it was yesterday but might as well enjoy while it lasts!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!£20 a day in May £41/£620 (previously £661/£600):beer:0
