Increasing shower pressure / flow

We have a barn conversion which was converted around 13 years ago and looking for a way to increase the flow/pressure from the shower.

It's not bad just not great.

The water flow coming into the property seems ok (c. 12 litres/minute) and the boiler (combi boiler) is a decent size - 30kw.

So what could be causing the problem and how to resolve it?

Combi boiler flow possibly mixer taps valves on the shower

Separate mega Flo or similar header tank will improve pressure.

Some thoughts.

Is the flow limited on hot only or is cold only still too little?

Is there a pressure limiting valve on the rising main?

Is there a long run of pipe to the shower and what size is it? 15mm 22mm 28mm?

Is there a build up of scale or debris in the shower mixer?

Is a shower pump compatible with the boiler?

The cheapest thing you can try is changing the shower head pipe to the smallest bore available.
