Court defence against Gladstones, help needed

Hi, i am drafting my initial defence against gladstones by looking through all the links in the newbies post but cant find an example where the person was attending a breakdown.
My car had broken down on private land which was the only exit out of mcdonalds but owned by shell, my oh had to come check it over to make sure it was safe to get home (along a dual carriageway) and i had 2 infants in the car. I didnt get a fine but OH did, we informed shell and heard nothing until October 2017 with a lbc, i responded asking for the info of the fine as per the newbie thread info and now we have a court letter, ive acknowledged it but need to do my defence and im struggling to find the relevant wording for this case.
Thanks guys

There was one such incident a few weeks ago, keep looking.
Here is an older one

There is also this

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

The two threads need merging.
OP, please pm Crabman or soolin to do so, then we can continue.
Show us your draft defence and write the bit about the breakdown yourself (should be near the top of the defence) and I hope you did the AOS in your OH's name, not yours, as OH is the Defendant, not you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
