Bosch dishwasher fault

Hi, returning member that lost old log in! Hoping someone can help. I bought a bosch dishwasher about 3 years ago courtesy of cashback / sale/ voucher codes. It's now out of warranty and doesn't drain. Husband has taken it apart and replaced the pump with a new one but still no joy. He has searched youtube etc and none of the suggestions have worked. If anyone can help we would be very grateful.

Blockage? Power getting to pump? Error message?

Do you regularly clean it with cleaner on a hot wash cycle?

Dishwashers can be prone to getting clogged up with debris/sludge. Disconnect the drain hose from the drain and by pouring in water into the dishwasher hold the hose low into a basin and see what happens. If the hose is plugged in to a connector rather than hung loose check that the connector to drain is not blocked too!
  • Replaced water pump dishwasher fills pump runs 240v given terminals just not pump away through tube to waste. Blown through drain hose to and from dishwasher. Just not pumping away??

I had this issue (the machine displayed E.24 on the display). The problem was a blockage in the drain after the pump. I cleared the blockage just by running the machine, but did have the drain hose held into a washing up bowl so that it reduced the load on the pump (normally the drain hose was routed into a standpipe so the pump was having to pump the water up hill somewhat).
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
