Incidentally, which Nationwide account requires a 12 month wait?
    NW flex direct.
My bonus ends next week but I have to wait 12 months to open another. I told them I'd go to another bank and they didn't care!!!

Nationwide have closed this loophole. You now can only have the 12 months 5% interest on up to £2,500 with the Nationwide FlexDirect account once. If you have ever held one before you will not be eligible.

I went into NW branch on Friday and was told I need to wait 12 months before opening a new bonus saver. However I can of course keep my existing one but once the bonus has ended it will be 1%.

The Nationwide FlexDirect is a one time only offer, once it's expired that's it you can't get another no matter how long you wait. There was a loophole a while back but it's been plugged

You can have up to six Tesco Bank internet savers
Presumably you mean 6 in a 'lifetime' and not 6 at the same time?

Whoever told you this was wrong. Have a read of the links I posted on my previous (edited) post.

No, six at the same time. I currently have three. See the link below to the Tesco Bank Community Forum which has answers from Tesco Bank staff.

Just phoned Tesco bank to confirm this! Had to queue for 16 mins! But you can still only withdraw a max of £10k a day in total, not from each account. To withdraw more you can do it by phone apparently.

    Thank you.

Just checked on the website and got the following:

For security, there's a maximum daily withdrawal limit of £10,000 to non-Tesco Bank accounts in the UK, and £100,000 to other Tesco Bank accounts in your own name.

Don't worry if you need to withdraw more, just give us a call and we'll be happy to help. After all, it's your money.

I always transfer to my Tesco Bank current account first.

At least they allow telephone withdrawals. So although it is an internet saver, it's not entirely restricted to the internet. Do you know if withdrawals to your non Tesco account are paid the same day or only on the following day, as is the case with Ford Money?

Now have to choose between Tesco and maybe Ford Money.
