PW1 strange arrival ???

I am presently in ESA Support Group. I received a PW1 form through the post !! I didn't request one, and I am not doing any voluntary or work of any kind. In August 16, I had an interview with a compliance officer, as I was working about 10 hrs a week. I had rang and informed the DWP that I was doing this work, but obviously the message didn't get noted. Anyway, the job came to an end in October 16, as it was just a temporary one. Since then I have not been able to work, but now I have seen a job for 7 hrs per week and thinking about applying. I know now that I must inform DWP with the PW1 if I do carry forward with this. The question is: Why did I get this PW1 out of the blue, or/and do you think it may be from the compliance interview in August 16? What should I do now? Ignore it as I am not working/volunteering or get in touch.

It's best not just to ignore any communication from DWP. Call them on Monday and let them know you aren't working and haven't done in the last year.

Seems like they think you could still be working and could be connected with the interview but we'd only be guessing here. I'd ring DWP first thing Monday morning and tell thm what you've received and ask the reason why. Tell them that you're not working and haven't been since the Oct 16.
