GDPR: all you can eat data

As many of you know, the data protection act 1998 is set to be replaced with the General Protection Data Regulation. This is, for the "little guy" a good thing (another thing to come outta Europe).
It will apply from 25 May 2018. Key changes are here:
https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-the-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr/individual-rights/right-of-access/
Importantly, reasonable data requests will now be FREE and must be complied with within a month.
There will be significant penalties for breaches/misuse of personal data. Where there are good examples of those breaches, they should be reported to the ICO.

Shall we make this thread the continuously bumped ''GDPR and PPCs - send a SAR to a PPC'' thread?
If everyone here wrote a SAR letter, as well as appealing, defending and reporting the PPC to their MP and Trading Standards, we would be causing the scumbags more work, and might wheedle out some very useful things in some cases.
I am deadly serious, all posters are entitled to send a SAR to these scum firms, so let's do it.
Can you suggest a simple well-worded template, Johnersh, people here seem to love them?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

For anybody contemplating sending a Subject Access Request, I would advise you to read clause 169 in particular.0
