Equifax/Experian can’t find me, help!

Ok so, I’m trying to take out a phone contract with Tesco mobile, saying some of my details are wrong, so I call them for them to tell me that there must be something that isnt matching up with my records. They recommend trying Equifax to check what it is that isn’t matching up, put all my details into that, nothing. Saying they can’t give me any details, I rung them and they said I need to send a copy of my passport and bank statement, but when I try, the site just gives me the number to call. This is driving me nuts! :mad:

Sending a copy of your passport to Equifax (the company that let themselves be subject to the world's biggest ever data hack) is not recommended.
