My partner was sold Payment Protection Benefits (paid to an insurance company) when taking out a pension policy, is this the same as PPI? Thank you in advance for any clarification.

PPB doesnt mean anything. Its not a generic term for any pension add on. Possibly it could be a brand name of waiver of premium
However, whatever it is, pensions could not have PPI added to them. Just not physically possible. So no. it is not PPI.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
