Can I push one button to write my email address?

Options
Hi folks, was just wondering if I can asign my email address to a particular button when using my computer - say an 'F' button - as i'm one these lazy people who likes to type as little as possible. sorry if this has been covered before.

I'm sure there are much easier ways -

I used to use autohotkey to automate the launching and manipulation of a lot of applications

But it might not be worth it if you only have a single thing to automate

Don't be put off by the idea of using 'scripts' - if you look at the tutorial, you'll see that you only need to learn a couple of words to do basic things

If you use Internet Explorer then download the Google Toolbar.

Using it's autofill option you can enter your email address, along with name address etc at the click of a button. You can set what values you want to use using the options menu, which includes a password protected area for storing your credit card details, if you're that brave!

When you install the toolbar it asks whether you want to allow the extended features, Autofill being one of them. It asks if it can transmit anonymous info about your surfing. This may not sound desirable, but I have never experienced any comeback from doing so.

The toolbar also allows you to goole direct from it, save recent searches, and more...

If you use Firefox, there is an autofill extension that works similarly. However, this isn't quite as accurate when reading the forms, so sometimes the wrong info is filled in...

    Hope This Helps.

I use Google autofill but decided only to input basic info like my name, address, postcode and e-mail address, leaving out telephone number etc as I don't ften give that out.

When you go onto a site which askes for your details, the boxes which autofill will fill in for you are highlighted yellow. You just click on autofill and the boxes are filled instanty. It's a real timesaver.
Just run, run and keep on running!
