Amazon Third Party cancelled my order

Hi,
I just wanted to know if im entitled to anything, I have seen similar threads like this one which are not entitled to anything and if the buyer can cancel it then so should the seller, But this is about my computer.
I was going to build a computer and i was originally going for a 1080 build, But then i upgraded to a 1080 TI build which meant upgrading everything, aka. CPU/mobo/cooler etc. the reason i upgraded is because i say a 1080 ti on amazon for £759 and now that seller cancelled the order without any explanation and when i try call the seller, they do not pick up the phone.
Since i upgraded everything and have already got everything in my house CPU/psu/cooler etc.etc.
Am i not entitled to my 1080 ti that they cancelled? Because now the parts i ordered are just wasted money without that graphics card. The same one is going for £150 more then the one i bought that got cancelled? This is really frustrating for me

Contract not formed until despatch.
You're entitled to a full refund for the item ordered. You're not covered for consequential loss.0 -
Primarily it depends on when a contract is formed.
Other factors can come into play too but if the contract isn't formed until dispatch and they didn't dispatch the goods, then you have no contract with them and they have no obligation towards you.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Well that sucks
Thanks for the help.

Yes I am afraid with Amazon (and a lot of online sellers), the contract is not complete until the item is sent out. Obviously the Card was incorrectly priced and the seller realised and cancelled it.
If you can afford a 1080 build, you should be able to find the £150.., they are very expensive and you knew the price you should be paying. It is a bit unlucky but its a gamble that didn't pay off.
I build my own too and save a fortune, there are huge benefits to building your own pc (like knowing exactly what is going into it).
You should be able to buy a lower level graphics card, you just won't get the performance you were hoping out of the rest of the components. But it should still be doable. Some slightly lower level graphics cards are built so well they offer almost the same performance as a higher level one. The noticeable difference is minimal in my opinion. As components don't always perform as expected, I always buy the mobo and graphics card first to see if they actually perform as rated.
If its of any interest, I was thinking of doing the same to my son's pc.., rebuilding it completely. Bought the graphics card first, and it improved the performance of the whole pc so much I didn't need to get any other components.., well not right then lol.0
