Random letters and text about PPI

My husband has asked me to find out if this has happened to anyone else.
A few weeks ago he got several texts and emails whithin a few days about reclaming PPI. They had his name and address and some had emails or phone number.
He has no idea where they have got his details from, as this is something we have done ourselves in the past so wouldn't need anyone to do it for us.( well over 7 yrs ago)
He is now getting letters through the post. One of the letters has his birthday totally random.
Any sugestions on where this could have happened and what to do? just ignore ??

No point worrying how and why you are getting SPAM.alyssa_liss wrote: »Any sugestions on where this could have happened and what to do? just ignore ??0 -
I wouldn't worry if it wasn't making out like we have enquired with them in the first place. Its a fair amount of paperwork with things to sign etc.
Obviously we wont0 -
I think with the deadline looming, the claims management companies are getting desperate with their potential golden goose getting elderly, so are trying to scare up last minute business.
I hadn't received any such mail until about a month ago and there have been a few recently. They seem to take the form of pre-filled application forms, with my name, address etc.0
