MSE News: Sainsbury's to trial complete overhaul of its Nectar scheme

As everyone else has said, Waitrose scrapped their "My Offers" as it was complicated and time-consuming, and now it beggars belief that Sainsbury's have chosen to copy it.

Waitrose have gradually been degrading the benefit of using their card through several measures in the last few years, and Sainsbury's have been doing the same.

They halved the value of Nectar points, for instance.

This measure is another regressive step, and is an attempt by Sainsbury's to stop people getting their points.

The points are almost worthless anyway, and this is the final nail in the coffin for Sainsbury's as far as I am concerned. I can buy many items at a third of the price of Sainsbury's at other supermarkets!
