BA are offering flights for £344.50 going in February. You may be better signing for all the email newsletters airlines / agents send out and see if there is a better deal. On the other hand OPODO have flights dep 10/02/06 and ret 17/02/06 for £302 with Air India and £323 with United.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0

Unless your NY itinerary is fixed in stone, then I'd leave choosing flights for Feb 06 until about December 2005.
Why?
Historically flight prices for Jan-early March to NYC tend to be around the £200 mark and in November\December you'l find lots of offers for the quiet period Jan-March.
Yes, things may change and go up, but I wouldn't pay £300 for a flight and I definitely wouldn't fly with BA.:eek:0 -
We went to New York in Feb 2005 - be warned thought it's freezing!! Didn't stop us having a great time though.
I totally agree with blindman to wait until then, as the flights do go on offer for that time of year. We got flights with Virgin for £199 each, on an offer which they had at the time.
We stayed in hotel 41, on west 41st street and found this to be an excellent location (right in the heart of times square, 10 seconds from the subway and 2 minutes from the port autority terminal) We found the cost was very reasonable, i think that we paid approx £350 total for 5 nights accomodation, with free breakfast, which is a rarity in New York City. We had, if I remember rightly 5 nights in NYC for £700 total, and had decent flight times with Virgin. It was booked through expedia.com, but there are always plenty of deals around for Feb, due to it being so cold!
There are plenty of other topis regarding this subject that have been posted previously, but I don't know how to direct you to them, sorry!I say what I like, I like what I say!0
