Underpaid backpay from ESA, maybe?
ANOPHELES
I applied to go in the Support group from work related because of surgery for cancer and confirmation of my ADHD diagnosis with my Narcolepsy to follow (probably).
It's from the 21/10/16 to 29/3/18.
I worked it out at around £3000 (about 78 weeks at 35ish pounds) but I got the letter today saying i will receive £1752.
Am I wrong?
Is there a cap on benefit backpay?

I'm not sure where you got £3000 from? You said you were previously in the WRAG and payment for this because you applied before April 2017 is £102.15 per week. Support Group is £109.65 per week. Add the Enhanced disability premium to this if it's a single persons claim (Income Related) is £15.90 extra per week. Total weekly amount for Support Group (Income Related) £125.55. The difference between the 2 weekly payments is £24.40 per week extra in the Support Group (IR).I applied to go in the Support group from work related because of surgery for cancer and confirmation of my ADHD diagnosis with my Narcolepsy to follow (probably).

I worked out it's roughly 74 weeks @ £24.40 is a total of £1,731.60, so the £3000 you quoted is incorrect. DWP are correct with their backpay amounts. These figures are based on a single persons claim.0 -
I see where I went wrong. Didn't realise I was already on half pay. Saved me an embarrassing phone call to the DWP . :j Thanks.0
