Hi
When you win your case in the small claims court, what are the fees that you should automatically get back in terms of costs, e.g. travel, expenses, court fees, application fees? Is it listed anywhere?
Thanks

You get none of your costs back automatically.sunflower888 wrote: »Hi

You have to make sure you claim them at the time.
You do this by providing a Costs Schedule to the court and the other party at least 24 hours before the hearing and discussing it with the judge after judgement.0 -
The definitive list of what exactly can and cannot be claimed is available in the court rules, here: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part27#27.14
You would need to work out what you are entitled to under the rules, and then claim for that as Keith describes.
Even if the rules say you are entitled to a particular cost, in practice it is a bit of a lottery as to whether the judge awards that cost or not.0
