Etam / Evans closing down?

Read on another board that Etams and Evans are closing down.

Anyone know if the shops in Bangor and llandudno are closing down too or is it a regional thing?:o

My brother works for the arcadia group and apparently Phillip Green has bought Etam don`t know what will happen but Evans already belongs to arcadia group,I would imagine they will still be selling clothes though

etam bangor has a huge sale and is emptying loads of stock.....maybe closing?

Apparently Etam is being closed down and in future will be occupying space in other stores as a concession.

Darlington and stockton have already gone and redcar will be at some point, according to some of the staff in Darlington , some of them are being kept on and they will re open as Monsoon!!!

Slightly late here, but as a Store Manager at Evans, I can assure you that we are NOT shutting down - quite the opposite. Evans has just been rebranded and we are working to bring our stores into the flagship style.

I was in Bhs yesterday and they had a huge section of Tammy (this used to be in Etam i believe??) so maybe this is where the teenage section of Etam has gone ??

The 2 local Etam's close to me have closed down, and then i've seen a Tammy concession in BHs.
