The longest we've been away for is six days, but you wouldn't need much more for ten. So in my case I would have a selection of tops and trousers/skirts, all in colours that match each other so I can make different outfits easily, also nightwear, underwear and swimwear. I only take one pair of shoes on holiday that I wear all the time so no shoes to pack (although sometimes I might pack flip flops as well for pool). Also charger and adapters for phones etc. A bag with toiletries that aren't liquids so toothbrush, brush etc. Then another see through bag with small liquids in. That's about it for my case. My husband has similar in his case. The kids each take their clothes, nightwear, underwear and swimwear, plus their phone/tablet/other electrical gadget. Also they take a book or magazine which we often buy at the airport. Plus sunhats and sunglasses. That's about it. When they were younger they took a few really small toys with them, although once my son decided to take a large selection of his metal diecast car models which weighed quite a lot but it was he who had to carry them! I also used to take some paper and pencils for them to draw etc if they got bored. Also I'll have my handbag with the important stuff like boarding passes, passports, money etc in.kellylight wrote: »Would you mind sharing your packing list (roughly) of what you would take for 10 nights please?0 -
IT suitcases for me too.
Make sure you keep the tags that are attached to the handle and also the receipt in a safe place as they are guaranteed for 10 years.
I have taken one back to Argos and one to bags etc and they did a straight swap (handle went on one and the fabric on another).
I particularly like the cabin case as it is a maximum size for all airlines, very lightweight and you can fit loads in.
I believe bags etc/duomo are going to be closing down so it may be worth looking out for deals with them as they have a great range of IT luggage.0 -

We also saved some room in the cases by pre-ordering our toiletries from Boots and collecting them from the branch in the airport (airside).
A good idea, but make sure you only do this if you don't have to get a connecting flight, otherwise you'll have all your liquids confiscated by security before you make it to the second plane.
Oh yes, another vote for IT luggage.0
