Can anyone help please with Lloyd’s credit card
Hoping someone can help me
I put a complaint into Lloyd’s due to them advising I had PPI on my credit card. Long story short I made the claim they upheld however I don’t think they’ve calculated it correctly
My credit card has been live for approx 12 years and has always had a balance probably has been on average £2500 across its life
They have said that I am owed £56 ish plus interest totalling an approximate payout of £95
How do I work out if this is correct? Surely PPI will have been paid monthly in my monthly payment?
I’m £95 better off than yesterday but not sure what they’ve paid us right
Thanks

If you have statements showing you paid more then present them, otherwise they can only go on the data they have, perhaps you cancelled the PPI early on?

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

So what are you asking for on here? You had the card 12 years and can 100% say for certain you didn't know you had it or cancel it 12 years ago?
If you don't have any proof you paid more either accept it or pay £10 for a DSAR for a copy of all the bank records they hold on you and see if the statements mention it but it's unlikely as the bank would check these things before submitting the refundSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
