car hit in an accident..next few steps..help please
hi driving down a normal road 30 mph
and it was about 10pm...
the car in front, breaked due to the another car turning right, so i breaked as well,, the car behind noticed this late so he went and hit my car from the car, this made my car move forward and hit the car in front..
now i have others drivers name, address, reg, telephone number car make, time of collision, area etc. is that enough, they didn disclose insurance companies nor did witnesses appear, but the guy in front understood it was clearly the car behind me and i got sandwiched in..
ill ring my insurers in the morning as others are also following suit,
my only concern, my auto renewal begin in 3 weeks for another year, so far i have been approx drivin 2 years now..
i did have an accident in 2006, it was def the other parties fault, but it is still ongoing, i also did an injury claim and that is also pending.
now i know i have to tell my insurers but really worried i might have to pay a large fee (excess) also it will affect me opersonally as this will be a 2nd injury despite not beign at blame which usually means increased premium.
im also contemplating an injury claim as my neck is feeling quite sore im hoping this doesnt count against me as well, due to my ongoing case with my last accident,
please help, any advice appreciated.
assesesed the car and there is nothign major, just some scratches etc.

Both you and the guy in front will claim from the guy behind who hit you. If the guy's insurer admits liability before you pay your renewal premium, then your premium won't go up.
If you need any help with your claim or your personal injury, PM me, as I have a friend who runs a claim management co.0 -
A second injury claim will not count against you. You sometimes find that repeated whiplash type incidents to the neck will make you more pre-disposed to this type of injury.
However, "the wrongdoer has to take the victim as they find them". The example usually given is the eggshell skull principle. If you smack someone over the head and they keel over and die, you are guilty of murder. The fact they had an abnormally thin skull does not detract from that.0 -

I agree with this ,the guy behind will be considered to have been driving too close to you,so he is at fault.
Give all the details to your ins.comp.and let them sort it out, thats what you pay them for.:DThere are two sides to every story.
