Problem with online returns

I ordered some dresses online from a well known retailer. I have been a regular customer for some time.
I ordered 5 dresses. Sent them all back as didn’t suit and have been credited for 4.when I called to enquire, they said there were only 4 returned. I know I sent 5.
They then said they would call me back, which they did and said that the warehouse says that only 4 were returned and the packaging wasn’t damaged.
They won’t refund th missing dress and I am not quite sure what to do as it seems it is their word against mine.
Oh, and the girl on the phone told me that “I am not calling you a liar”
Any help would be appreciated, thanks you.
