Britannia PCN Payment

Hi,
I received a windscreen PCN 12 days ago from Britannia and have just gone on to their website to look at paying it, but when entering the PCN number and car reg on both the appeal and payment screens, it says that they cannot find the ticket.
The PCN I received had a yellow, blue and green copy in the pouch, is this normal or have they forgotten to take a copy?....and what should I do? The ticket was fair as I was 30min late back to my car but if they've got no record of it then have I got away with it!?
Thanks.

This is a scam, and nobody here pays.
Pease read the sticky thread for NEWBIES then send the appeal template as keeper that you will find there, around day 26.
You should also edit your post to remove information about who did what. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.
Of course it is not fair. Have a look at what MPs said about this, and then complain to yours and Sir Greg Knight MP.
These are some of the comments made by the MPs in Parliament concerning the unregulated parking industry (Feb 2018):
https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2018-02-02/debates/CC84AF5E-AC6E-4E14-81B1-066E6A892807/Parking(CodeOfPractice)Bill
''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.
These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants further information about this scam.
What happened when you complained to the landowner/retail manager?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Because you are asking how to pay an ''outrageous scam'' (Hansard, 2.2.18). We will not tell you to pay this. No private parking tickets are 'fair' and you would be mugged if you paid any amount.
Britannia are so easy to beat on appeal, that I'm disappointed when I fail to get a love letter from them when I park at Waitys. And no, we don't deliberately overstay or anything. This is about knowing who you are dealing with, and that the entire industry is rotten.
Read the NEWBIES thread. Win. Get it cancelled. A windscreen PCN is to appealed on DAY 26, by the KEEPER.
If you want to shell out money, give some to charity when you win (online) at POPLA with our help.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That's because I do not understand the question. I cannot comprehend why anyone would willingly pay a scammer who does not take people to court, but can be easily beaten with a few copy and paste appeals.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

There were several questions one of which was "what should I do". Fruitcake answered that by telling you to read the Newbies thread.
Your other questions are either answered by reading the Newbies thread or require a crystal ball.0 -
The ticket was not fair, it is a scam, and lots of our elected representatives say so.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Yeah I get all that but my question was that if they can!!!8217;t find the PCN number then does that mean they!!!8217;ve ballsed up and I therefore don!!!8217;t have to pay the fine OR appeal? I can!!!8217;t appeal something they don!!!8217;t have record of. Appreciate you must get a lot of samey questions but it would help if they were read properly.0

No it doesn't mean they've ballsed up, nor that the fake PCN will disappear without appeal.
Do as advised, as keeper, on day 26 online or by email.
You win, no NTK will be served.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Like I said the answer to that requires a crystal ball. Personally I would wait to see if you get an NTK then take it from there.0 -
You said you went to the website to look at paying it, hence all the responses you have received.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
