Yes I do have online banking, I also have an app like that called spendlytics through Santander. Does pretty much what you described.
My aim is to increase my credit rating so that when it eventually comes to the point of me applying for a mortgage, I will seem like a 'reliable borrower.

Just remember , set that direct debit up straight away and if, like me, you feel you can be easily swayed into buying stuff which is just a want and not a need, leave the card at home when going out0 -
