Work Group ESA appointment text.

Right now I'm in the work group for ESA, put on it a couple weeks back I believe.
Understandably I was set an appointment for a ESA work adviser about a week after that letter, for the 5th of this week.I have no transport this week due to family reasons, so I rescheduled the appointment to a time where I could get there. I did this early last week and I've had the letter about my rescheduled appointment arrive and sorted so I know its been set.
Despite this I just got a text from the DWP saying my next job center appointment is on the 5th like my original date. Should I worry about this text, or is this just the system being outdated as its prone to doing?

You need to ring them to make 100% sure that the appointment date/time was changed the day you rang.Right now I'm in the work group for ESA, put on it a couple weeks back I believe.

I discovered today that the Jobcenter can be anything up to 1 year out of date, so it's better call the DWP to pass on the message to the jobcenter. If like me, you'll find there is no direct number for the jobcenter but just a generic number for the DWP for the whole country.Right now I'm in the work group for ESA, put on it a couple weeks back I believe.

Alternatively, if you know where your jobcenter is it might just be easier to visit them in person (if you can) than have to go around the houses with the DWP phone system.0 -

The Jobcentre has the same computer systems that the call centres do. Who has told you your latest snippet of inaccurate information?
(Given that the OP cannot get to his appointment, it seems very unlikely he can otherwise visit them in person.)0
