"Tainted" address

Options
We had a tenant in a rental property who moved out last October owing £5000 rent. We have just this month obtained a CCJ against her but don`t expect to get much back. Since she left letters have been sent to the property from other people who she also owes money to. We have contacted them but the letters are still coming. (I don`t know for sure where she is living now)

The property is now in the process of being sold and I am concerned that the buyers may have problems with credit etc in the future if this woman is still linked to the address. What can we do?

Houses don't have credit files, people do.

Someone building up a load of unpaid debt at an address has no impact on other's ability to obtain credit.

There might be an issue with letters from DCAs and the like but there's not much you can do about that, they tend not to believe people when they tell them that the person doesn't live there anymore.

The person is affected not the address. People are linked by accounts not addresses. Debt collector letters and visits could be a problem though.
