Santander retailer offer expiring today

I have a retailer offer which expires today. I'd be keen to make use of it but I often find that my credit card payments don't appear on a statement until a day or two afterwards. Given that the offer expires today, I'm a little worried I wouldn't be eligible given the offer would have 'disappeared' by the time the entry appeared on the statement...
Perhaps I'm being foolish though. Any experience of this?...
