Are carers allowance and carers credits the same thing or different? I've never heard of carers credits but the website states that if you received carers allowance you should get carers credit, however I do not see it on the breakdown of benefits when they send them out?

Carer's Credit is an NI credit - effectively this means that, because you are being paid Carer's Allowance you are also getting credited with Natioal Insurance contributions towards your state pension.
Also, if you are still claiming CA when your SP is payable then I believe a Carer's Premium is also added to the State Pension, but this needs checking.0 -
There are different.
