  • Where did you see that?

I!!!8217;m sure under GDPR they can no longer charge for a statutory report.

The same goes for the other CRA!!!8217;s
  • They should still be able to charge, as it's their value added information (the 'score' and pretty formatting, hints/tips to improve your file etc) - however they'll also have to provide info under the DSAR (presumably just a LOT of text etc, they don't have to display it particularly nicely - so long as it can *reasonably* be understood by the consumer).

E.g. if you go to Noddle now and click Download my report, I assume it'll be a similar format to how Call Credit do that. Essentially the raw account data and over 100 pages in a PDF for me.

Sorry - was Equifax I read it on not Experian, although I assume Experian (and Call Credit) will do similar. Whilst I believe they're entitled to charge for "value added" services, I think making them free will prevent them being inundated with DSARs from every Tom !!!! and Harry that just wants to know their "credit score" for free. But equally it won't appease those that actually do want/need a DSAR

  • Let!!!8217;s see whom offers what for free I think then.

Will be interesting to see what they can get away with charging you for going forward

The only obvious thing missing from the CreditWise report are Financial Connections, I can't see them reported anywhere.

so essentially if one already has Noddle, ClearScore and MSECC, they don't really need or get anything more from this CreditWise thingy?

ClearScore has been bought out by Experian so the thought is at some point they will change from using Equifax to using Experian. So just using the 3 bove won't give your Equifax report

Cheers for the heads up Gary

One thing I'm not sure on whether I need to chase up with them is a unsatisfied CCJ I have which shows on

    Credit Club - £796
    Noddle - £796
    Clearscore - £796

Capital One show it as £79,600

Sounds like a formatting error. You could contact them and query it/raise it as a bug.

I have no CCJ’s in file - but all other accounts show the balances correctly.
