How can I stop Gumtree app from displaying pics on Android?

I have this setting on, but Nougat ( or the Gumtree app) just ignores it. I just want to be able to open pics by touching.

This seems to be a pretty basic thing, so it's quite surprising that out of 130 views nobody's come up with an answer. My small data allowance is just draining away!0

Can't see the pic you posted but under settings app more choose show system processes, you might find the culprit in there.0

I think the better answer is to get more data - what are you paying, and for how many GB? Having to turn off pics in Gumtree sounds draconian.0
