Not Sure Where To Start For A Mortgage

That's a good point but it sort of defeats the purpose of the signature!.
Move on, nothing to see here...Feb 2008, 20year lifetime tracker with "Sproggit and Sylvester"... 0.14% + base for 2 years, then 0.99% + base for life of mortgage...base was 5.5% in 2008...but not for long. Credit to my mortgage broker0 -

You need to move on and police something that needs policing - I've not done anything wrong. I do not currently give advice on mortgages, but I do have interests in businesses that do give advice on mortgages and other financial products. I think its only fair to disclose the fact I am not a layman and I work within the industry.
If you think this is wrong, that's fair enough - but it could have been dealt with by private message instead of hijacking someone else's request for help to scream about the fact my signature sits in a grey area where "rules" are concerned.
You might like to know that I've helped on these boards on and off for years (since 2006), and I was part of the discussion that originally brought these rules into play - I never have, and never will abuse them or do anything that compromises a forum user looking for help.I am a Mortgage Adviser

This is what happens when everyone starts being pedantic.
Why not just accept the signature is there in the interests of being open and it is causing no harm and not against the rules. Surely another experienced and qualified person sharing their thoughts and experiences is better for everyone.
Can we all have a big hug now and move on or even a nod of agreement and move on. Life is too short to be debating things that dont matter, that is what Jezza is for.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
